A Farm Restored: A Purpose Renewed
The story of Red Gables Farm began in 2022, when we found a weathered farmhouse with red brick, red roofs, and a pair of old barns waiting for new purpose. We restored the home first, bringing warmth back into its rooms, then turned to the barns—cleaning, repairing, and preparing them for the flock that would soon arrive.
By 2025, our little farm had grown into something bigger. We joined the Chicken Farmers of Ontario as an Artisanal Chicken Farmer, opening the door to share our carefully raised poultry with families across the region.
Every sunrise now brings life to the yard, every bird is raised with intention, and every customer becomes part of the continuing story of Red Gables Farm.
Our Philosophy: Humane Farming, Healthy Food Our Journey of Passion
At Red Gables Farm, the welfare of our birds is at the heart of everything we do. From the beginning, we’ve been committed to raising chickens the right way—cage‑free, with room to roam, scratch, and behave naturally in clean, open barn spaces. When birds are raised in a calm, low‑stress environment, it shows in the quality of the food they produce: healthier, cleaner, and naturally more flavorful.
We’re proud to keep our poultry antibiotic‑free, relying on attentive care and natural farming practices rather than shortcuts. Every step—from feed to flock management—is done with intention, ensuring that the chicken you bring home is as fresh, safe, and wholesome as possible.
At Red Gables Farm, raising poultry isn’t just a process; it’s a responsibility. And when you serve our chicken to your family, you can feel confident knowing it was raised with respect, integrity, and genuine care.
